Responsibilities
- Work with developers to develop product firmware
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Verify and deploy programs and systems
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing firmware
- Recommend and execute improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Skills
- Previous experience in completing at least one software lifecycle project
- Proficient programming skills in Embedded C, C++
- Excellent knowledge in working with micro controllers like ST, TI, PIC, etc.
- Working experience in GIT, Bit bucket, SVN, etc.
- Ability to understand datasheets and develop peripherals drivers like UART, Parallel, SPI, I2C, etc.
- Hands on experience in module design and development like RTC, EEPROM, Graphic LCD, Keypad drivers, etc.
- Experience in RTOS concepts and hands on with any RTOS like CMX, Free RTOS, etc.
- Practical exposure to handling DSO/Multimeters, etc.
- Fair knowledge of fire safety domain and working fire panel development
